One person was found dead at Kalasatama area in Helsinki on Sunday, police said in a press release.
Responding to a call from bystanders, emergency service people and police rushed to the spot and found the person in unconscious condition at Capellan puistotie area in the locality.
The emergency service people tried to recover the person through cardiopulmonary resuscitation but did not get any response. The person was declared dead on the spot.
The police, however, did not divulge detail about the identity of the deceased.
Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the death.
They are also requesting information from the witnesses to get more information in this regard.
