Jirka Hakala, a special adviser to Centre Party leader Antti Kaikkonen, has resigned from his post following reports that a pornographic video was filmed in his apartment and published on the adult website OnlyFans.

The resignation comes after Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat reported on Tuesday that it had accessed the video on the platform and verified the filming location as Hakala’s residence.

Centre Party secretary Antti Siika-aho confirmed to Yle that Hakala will no longer serve in his advisory role but declined to elaborate on the nature of his new duties within the party.

“I’m not going to get into it and I won’t comment any further,” Siika-aho said when asked whether the reassignment was directly related to the video.

Yle attempted to contact Kaikkonen for comment. He did not answer calls and later responded by text message stating that he would not be commenting on the matter.

Hakala has not issued any public statement.
