Karol Nawrocki, President of Poland, will visit Finland on 9 September for a working meeting with Alexander Stubb, President of Finland.
The visit will take place at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki. The two heads of state will hold official talks focused on bilateral cooperation between Poland and Finland. The agenda also includes Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine and other regional security issues.
Following the discussions, the presidents will hold a joint press conference.
The visit marks the first meeting between the two presidents since Karol Nawrocki took office. It also continues Finland’s diplomatic outreach to NATO member states in Eastern Europe amid heightened tensions in the region.
