Technology and food delivery company Wolt has concluded restructuring negotiations concerning its Finnish customer service unit.
Talks began on 21 August and covered around 80 roles. Initial estimates suggested significant staff reductions. The company now says that most changes were managed through voluntary agreements.
Customer service roles have been revised to align with Wolt’s updated organisational structure.
Many of the reductions were achieved through voluntary severance packages, while some contracts were adjusted to fit new duties.
As a result, no compulsory layoffs were made.
Wolt employs more than 15,000 people in over 30 countries. Around 1,500 of those work in Finland, in addition to about 10,000 couriers.
