Housing prices in Finland fell by 2.4 percent in October compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Finland.

Prices remained unchanged from September nationwide. In the capital region, they fell by 0.3 percent.

The sharpest annual drop was in Espoo, where prices fell by 6.6 percent. Vantaa followed with a 6.4 percent decline. All major cities recorded year-on-year decreases.

Prices of old block apartments dropped by around three percent nationally.

Sales activity increased slightly. Real estate agents reported four percent more transactions of old flats and terraced houses than in October 2024.

Rovaniemi’s seasonal demand supported prices during the high travel period.
