Experts and researchers in Finland have urged a shift in the national immigration debate, calling for policymakers and the public to treat migrants as future citizens rather than merely a temporary labour re, Mobile Futures, and SustAgeable research projects under the DEMOGRAPHY programme. The projects are funded by the Strategic Research Council operating within the Academy of Finland.
